What happens when your teen or tween wants to participate in protest, march, or school walkout events, even if that means facing repercussions from their school? What would you say? How would you respond? Here is one mom's response to her teenage daughter on this subject. What do you think? What would your response be?

As long as the youth have studied and examined the reasons for the cause to take part im it. That they understand that there can be repercussions, legal issues, acts of violence toward them. That they ahould remain as peaceful as possible while engaging in protests, etc. That civil disobedience is a right and the responsiblity of all of us in the States. That they are the future living in the present trying to change the wrongs of the past.
