Before receiving this hair color kit, I hadn't colored my hair in over TEN years!  The last time I colored my hair, it was jet black. Since then, I have amassed a fair amount of graying hair, mostly at my hairline and temples. Below are my "before" photos.

I was rather apprehensive about the results after not having colored my hair for so long, and also reading a few not-so-great reviews of the Garnier Olia Medium Rose Gold hair color kit. But, I figured my hair will always grow out and I can return to my natural color in due time. So I dug in and did it.

And, like magic... 30 minutes, a shower, and a blow dry later... I have a hair color I'm really digging so far. I haven't been this close to blond in a very long time. And this is more of a strawberry/rosy blond. I'm liking it so far, for a change of pace.  Below... I present to you... the results!

Would I use this hair color kit and shade again? YES! I may even give one of the other, bolder Garnier Olia shades a try sometime in the future (maybe even this one).
